Facet: Translating the Body’s Wisdom
The capacity to read sensation as information — to let the body speak, and to translate what it says into emotion, want, and choice.
What it points at
The somatic foundation of the practice. Before story, before interpretation, the body is already responding to what is happening — contracting, opening, heating, settling. Translating that wisdom means receiving sensation as data, not noise; honoring it as the first layer of presencing.
How it shows up in practice
- The S in sew — sensation as the starting move.
- The body-based arrival that opens every meeting.
- The daily daily-meditation practice as training ground for sensation awareness.
