Principle 15: Self-Supporting
We are self-supporting through our own contributions. We decline outside funding that would create entanglement.
Commentary
Financial independence as integrity-protection. Outside funding creates outside obligations; refusing it keeps the fellowship’s decisions its own.

Source confirmations
v5 strategy draft (raw/EPI_Expansion_Strategy_v5.docx.md) is an independent
source asserting the same content. Section “Money”: “Each group is self-supporting through its own donations … in the spirit of AA’s Seventh Tradition: self-supporting through our own contributions, declining outside support.”
This is archival corroboration — a different voice and a different context arriving at the same statement. Worth noting for the eventual ratification pass.
